Scout SaaS is SaaS procurement software for small and mid-sized teams that want structured software requests, comparable vendor quotes and documented security, legal and budget approvals.
What Scout SaaS does
Teams open a request with the business need, the number of seats and the budget. They add vendors from the Scout SaaS software directory or enter offers they received, then compare first-year cost, implementation fees and contract terms on the same basis. Security, legal and budget checks are recorded with the reviewer and must be complete before a request can be approved. Every record can carry documents, comments and an actor-attributed history.
What Scout SaaS does not do
Scout SaaS does not negotiate with suppliers, buy software for you or connect to vendor systems. Your team collects and verifies the quotes. The directory shows published prices and security facts as a reference, not as an offer. Your own quotes always take priority over those figures, and nothing is ordered or signed on your behalf.
What makes it different
A flat price of $29 per month per workspace instead of a per-seat fee. Approvals that are cleared when the selected offer changes, so an old sign-off cannot cover a new price. Five roles enforced on the server. CSV and JSON export at any time. A read-only MCP interface with revocable keys. Adding a colleague to a workspace never changes the monthly bill, so reviewers can be invited freely.
Who it is for
Operations leads, finance teams and software buyers who manage sourcing themselves and want a consistent review workflow. Scout SaaS is offered to businesses only.
