CoreView review (2026): features, pros and cons, and what to check before you buy

Microsoft 365 governance, security and license optimization platform; SaaS management is limited to the Microsoft estate.

Researched by Max Benz · Facts checked October 24, 2026 · How we research

Our take for buyers

CoreView is a Microsoft 365 tenant management tool, not a general SaaS management platform, and that is the first thing a buyer must understand. It will not inventory Slack, Salesforce or similar apps, so do not buy it expecting that. If your problem is delegated admin for a large Microsoft estate, configuration drift and license reclaim across Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune and Entra, it is a serious candidate.

It is not for companies that need to discover non-Microsoft apps or small teams wanting quick setup. G2 lists about three months to implement. The company was previously called 4ward365, was founded in 2014, and is listed with offices in Milan and Alpharetta. Reviewers rate it 4.6 on G2 from 117 reviews.

Pros

  • Easy to use admin console.
  • Strong reporting.
  • Helps manage licenses and automate admin tasks.

  • Managed service providers and enterprises reclaiming Microsoft licenses.

A weak fit for

  • BetterCloudIT teams that want no-code on/offboarding and Google Workspace controls alongside license tracking.
  • ToriiIT teams wanting discovery plus workflow automation.
  • ZluriIT teams combining SaaS management with access reviews and onboarding automation.
  • Nudge SecurityIT and security teams under 1,500 users that want published prices.

Security, admin and compliance

Published certifications: ISO 27001, ISO 27018, SOC (AICPA) and IRAP, plus GovRAMP Premier Member status, which is a membership and not a certification. The tool keeps an audit trail of changes. Not published: SSO, SCIM, data residency, a DPA, and contract terms. Because CoreView holds delegated admin access to your Microsoft tenant, ask for the permission scopes it requires, where tenant data is stored, the DPA, and the term and exit conditions.

What to test in a CoreView demo or trial

Connect a test tenant and check what the tool reads across Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune and Entra. Run the security posture score against the CIS Microsoft 365 baseline and see whether the findings match your own view. Try the golden configuration image: change a setting, then confirm rollback and the audit trail work. Build a delegated self-service admin task using the no-code automation actions, and note how the interface performs, since one reviewer finds it slow around updates. Ask for the license reclaim savings on your own tenant.
